Room for Relations features commentary about Black Love, Mental Health and Family Relationships from professionals, experts, and those experiencing it every day.
This website is the brain child of Eboni Harris, Relationship Therapist. In January of 2015, she began a sex and relationship podcast with a a few friends to discuss all things dating, love and sex. As the podcast began to grow, she often heard listeners complain about not having a space to talk about said topics and other issues facing the black community. There were black sections on other popular websites and black owned websites often missed the mark on engaging millennials. Eboni decided this project would be right up her alley. It would not only allow her the opportunity to help the black community discover more information about sex, love dating, and healthy relationships but also engage them in discussions about family, mental health and therapy.
Mission: Our mission is to provide an online space for Black/African Americans to find information about sexuality, relationships, mental health and family issues in voices and imagery that reflects them. (A place where we can leave better than when we came.)
